La Gerla

La Gerla

For years I have worked on forms, images and multidisciplinary projects. At the base of every project there is always a choice of colours: sometimes visible, sometimes hidden. Here I gather four colours every day, as small cues to observe, copy, use or simply carry with you.

A gerla is a basket carried on the shoulders, used to transport hay, wood, fruit and gathered objects. Every now and then, something else may end up inside: a piece of green shutter, a faded paper, the red of a tomato, a shadow taken from a room. Every day, in this gerla, you will find a new collection to take as a starting point.
